Know Your Options
Learn which way the lights can be installed that best fits your needs. Some companies only offer one-way facing lights. Some offer Facing out.
Low Voltage
Low Voltage can be 5V, 12V, 24V, or 48V. Discover what is causing low voltage in your state. Some systems require extra components to operate
Exterior electrical components need to have the highest ratings, just like the extension cords you buy for inside or out. There is a difference.
Does the installer need attic access? PermLights does not. If they do, it is because they need to run extra power and wires to increase power to operate lights on other parts of the house.
Lights installed on gutters
Never allow holes to be drilled in the gutter or drip edge to insert lights in holes. These system leave the wire exposed and will only last a few years. Always require installation in channel or track
Channel/Track
Alunimium Channel has been proven for over 50 years with any color. Plastic-limited colors that expand and contract require more maintenance over time.
